Holidays in a chalet (mobile home) at Südsee-Camp

You will find our cosy chalets in the Schwanensee area, idyllically situated around a biotope and in the Wrogewald pitch area near the lake.

The mobile homes in the beautiful Lüneburg Heath at Südsee-Camp Wietzendorf are functional, modern and comfortably furnished for your family holiday.

Season / chalets available: from the beginning of May to the end of October; our chalets at Südsee-Camp are not bookable in winter.

What is a chalet?

A chalet at Südsee-Camp is a mobile home - similar to a small bungalow, but with the special feature that each of them has a chassis and is therefore not firmly attached to the ground. It is reminiscent of a tiny house and can theoretically be manoeuvred at any time, meaning it is "mobile" and could be moved to another location.

They offer room for families of up to 6 people in a small space and, as fully equipped overnight accommodation on the campsite, are what is known as glamping: a type of camping where you don't need your own equipment and instead enjoy a holiday close to nature in a comfortable accommodation.

The "Sweethome" type chalets are located in the "Schwanensee" area. They are 37 m² in size and can accommodate up to four people.


In the middle of the chalet there is a large living room with a comfortable sofa seating area with television (cable TV), dining area and a fully equipped fitted kitchen. To the left and right of the eat-in kitchen is a bedroom with a double bed and a children's room with two single beds. The chalet also has a shower room and a separate toilet. In front of the chalet there is a wooden terrace and a car parking space. A rental parking space can be booked for additional cars.

Entry to the swimming pool and indoor playground is available at a reduced house rate. Limited number of people, access cannot be guaranteed!

The "Villa Provencale" type chalets are located in the "Schwanensee" area. They are 40m² in size and can accommodate up to 4 people. Pets are allowed in the type 2 chalets and must be specified directly when booking.

In the middle of the chalet there is a large living room with a comfortable sofa seating area with television (cable TV), dining area and a fully equipped fitted kitchen. To the left and right of the eat-in kitchen is a bedroom with a double bed and a children's room with two single beds. The chalet also has a shower room and a separate toilet. Decor & design of the furnishings may vary per chalet, see example pictures 8-10. In front of the chalet there is a wooden terrace and a car parking space. A rental parking space can be booked for additional cars.


For dog owners: The type 2 chalets can be booked with dog(s)/pet(s).
In the immediate vicinity there are also two outside gates to be able to leave the site quickly for a walk, as well as the approx. 2,000 square meter, fully fenced dog playground as an outdoor area.

The chalets of the "Oregon" type are mainly located in the "Schwanensee" area; one chalet in the "Wrogewald" area. They are 40 m² in size and can accommodate up to five people.

The chalet has a spacious living area with an open kitchen, gas stove, combined grill/microwave and a dishwasher. On the right in the entrance area there is a children's room with two single beds with innerspring mattresses (2x 80x200 cm). Next to it is the master bedroom, the bed also has a spring mattress (160x200 cm).

In the living area, the leather sofa can be converted into a fifth bed. The chalet also offers a modern bathroom with a flat shower and a towel dryer. The living area with a large glass front leads to a covered wooden terrace - optionally with a view of the idyllic biotope or in the Wrogewald with a view of the Südsee-Camp bathing lake. A car parking space is available in front of the chalet. A rental parking space can be booked for additional cars.

The "Saint Malo" type chalets are located in the "Schwanensee" and "Wrogewald" areas. They are 40 m² in size and can accommodate up to six people.


The chalet has a large eat-in kitchen with a comfortable sofa seating area and a TV. The spacious fitted kitchen is fully equipped (incl. dishwasher) and offers plenty of space for social cooking. There is also a bedroom with a double bed (160x200 cm) and two children's rooms, each with two single beds (4x 70x200 cm).


A bathroom en suite: Directly off the master bedroom with double bed is a bathroom with shower and toilet. Another shower as well as another separate toilet is easily accessible for everyone from the living room.

In front of the chalet there is a wooden terrace and a car parking space. For additional cars, a rental parking space can be booked.


Entry to the swimming pool and indoor playground is available at a reduced house rate. Limited number of people, access cannot be guaranteed!
