We're looking for authentic photos that clearly capture the spirit of Südsee-Camp. It doesn't matter whether your picture was taken with a professional camera or a smartphone, or whether it's technically perfect. What matters most is the story, the atmosphere, and the memories behind it.

The winners of 2nd to 10th place will each receive a €100 holiday voucher!
After the submission period has ended, a Südsee-Camp jury will review all valid entries.
The jury will select ten winning photos
From these ten winning photos, the grand prize of a €1,000 holiday voucher will be awarded at random.
The remaining nine winning entries will each receive a €100 holiday voucher.
All vouchers can be redeemed for a future stay at Südsee-Camp and are valid until 30 September 2028.

Your holiday memory could be one of them! You can upload your photos in JPG, JPEG, PNG, or HEIC format. The maximum file size is 10 MB per photo.
Preamble
The purpose of the “Südsee-Camp Photo Contest 2026” is to showcase the most beautiful, creative and atmospheric holiday photos with a recognisable connection to Südsee-Camp.
Participants may submit their own photos during the contest period from 23.07.2026 up to and including 30.09.2026. From all valid submissions, a Südsee-Camp jury will select a total of ten winning photos. The grand prize will be awarded at random from among these ten winning photos.
Participation in the Südsee-Camp Photo Contest is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these Terms and Conditions of Participation. By participating, the participant agrees to these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
1. Organiser

The Photo Contest is in no way affiliated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X or any other social networks and is neither sponsored, supported nor organised by them.
2. Contest Period and Procedure
The Südsee-Camp Photo Contest will take place from 23.07.2026, 00:00 to 30.09.2026, 23:59. German local time applies in each case.
Participation is possible exclusively online via the Photo Contest page. Submissions by post, email or any other means cannot be considered.

There, participants may upload up to five photos during the contest period and enter the information required for participation.
The following information in particular is required for participation:
First and last name
Email address
Upload of at least one and no more than five photos
Confirmation of the Terms and Conditions of Participation
Confirmation of the data protection information
Confirmation that the required rights to the submitted image material are held
Confirmation that the persons depicted consent to the submission and possible publication
After the form has been submitted, the information and image files will be transmitted to Südsee-Camp. Participation is complete only once the data has been transmitted successfully.
Only one entry per person is permitted. Incomplete or erroneous submissions, or submissions received after the end of the contest period, cannot be considered.
3. Eligibility
All natural persons are eligible to participate.
Persons under the age of 18 may participate only with the consent of their parents or legal guardians. By participating, they confirm that the relevant consent has been obtained.
Participation is not contingent on a booking, purchase or any other paid service. However, the submitted photo must have a clearly recognisable connection to Südsee-Camp.
A recognisable connection to Südsee-Camp exists in particular if the photo was taken during a stay at Südsee-Camp or depicts subjects, situations, impressions, facilities, nature, camping moments or holiday experiences that are clearly associated with Südsee-Camp.
Südsee-Camp reserves the right to exclude submissions that have no recognisable connection to Südsee-Camp.
Südsee-Camp employees who are directly involved in the organisation, technical implementation or judging of the Photo Contest are excluded from the selection of winners.
4. Photo Requirements
A total of up to five photos taken by the participant may be submitted.
The submitted photos must have been created by the participant. The participant must hold the necessary copyright and rights of use for the submitted photos.
Permitted file formats are:
JPG
JPEG
PNG
HEIC
The maximum file size is 10 MB per image. If a photo is selected as a winning photo, Südsee-Camp may request a higher-resolution or original-size version from the participant.
The following in particular are not permitted:
photos with no recognisable connection to Südsee-Camp
photos for which the participant does not hold the necessary rights
photos that infringe third-party rights
photos depicting recognisable persons whose consent to submission and publication has not been obtained
photos depicting minors where the consent of their parents or legal guardians has not been obtained
images generated wholly or partly by artificial intelligence
AI-generated or AI-manipulated subjects that are not based on a real photo taken by the participant
images in which people, objects, backgrounds or significant image elements have been added, removed, replaced or distorted using AI
photos with watermarks, frames, vignettes, conspicuous lettering or other highly distorting design elements
unlawful, violence-glorifying, pornographic, racist, discriminatory, offensive or otherwise objectionable content
content that is capable of manipulating or impairing the contest
Standard photographic editing remains permitted provided it does not materially distort the subject. This includes, in particular, adjustments to brightness, contrast, colour, cropping, sharpness or white balance.
Südsee-Camp reserves the right to exclude and delete, without separate notification, photos that violate these requirements.
5. Rights to the Submitted Photos and Indemnification
By participating, the participant confirms that they are the author of the submitted photos or hold all rights required to submit the photos as part of the Südsee-Camp Photo Contest.
The participant also confirms that the submitted photos are free of third-party rights. This applies in particular to copyright, trademark rights, personality rights and other protected rights.
If persons are recognisably depicted in a photo, the participant confirms that those persons consent to the submission, judging and possible publication of the photo as part of the Photo Contest.
If minors are recognisably depicted in a photo, the participant confirms that the consent of their parents or legal guardians has been obtained.
The participant shall indemnify Südsee-Camp against third-party claims arising from submitted photos infringing third-party rights or from the necessary consents not having been obtained. This includes, in particular, claims for infringement of copyright, rights of use, personality rights or data protection rights.
6. Rights of Use
By participating, the participant grants Südsee-Camp a non-exclusive, worldwide and royalty-free right to use the submitted photos.
The right of use includes using the photos in connection with the Südsee-Camp Photo Contest as well as for Südsee-Camp’s own promotion and public presentation.
This includes, in particular, use in the following media and channels:
Südsee-Camp website
Südsee-Camp social media channels
Südsee-Camp newsletter
digital advertising and online marketing
press and public relations
printed materials
presentations
internal and external means of communication
Südsee-Camp is entitled to reproduce, distribute, make available to the public, publish and display the submitted photos for the stated purposes.
Südsee-Camp is also entitled to adapt the photos technically and visually for publication. This includes, in particular, adjustments to file format, image size, cropping, colour space, brightness, contrast, white balance and sharpness. No editing that distorts the meaning or substantially alters the image will be undertaken.
The right of use is granted regardless of whether the submitted photo is selected as a winning photo.
The participant may revoke the right to future use with effect for the future. Publications already made, in particular printed materials, social media posts already published or advertising materials already commissioned, may not be capable of being fully or immediately reversed. Südsee-Camp will comply with a justified revocation to the extent technically and organisationally possible and while observing the principle of proportionality.
7. Prizes
The following prizes will be awarded as part of the Südsee-Camp Photo Contest 2026:
1 × holiday voucher worth €1,000
9 × holiday vouchers worth €100 each
The vouchers can be redeemed for a holiday at Südsee-Camp.
The vouchers are valid until 30.09.2028.
Cash payment, payment of residual amounts, exchange or transfer of the prize to another person is excluded.
8. Special Voucher Conditions
The holiday vouchers can be redeemed for new holiday bookings at Südsee-Camp, in particular for camping stays, rental accommodation or the rental fee for an annual pitch.
The vouchers can be redeemed online at www.suedsee-camp.de or directly at the Südsee-Camp reception.
The vouchers cannot be applied to existing bookings if those bookings have already been paid in full at the time the voucher is redeemed.
The vouchers are not valid for leisure facilities, restaurants, food and beverage services, shops or other additional services unless these are expressly approved by Südsee-Camp.
Any unused remaining balance will be credited to the customer account and can be used for the stated services within the voucher’s validity period. Cash payment of the remaining balance is excluded.
Any additional or consequential costs associated with using the prize shall be borne by the respective winner. These include, in particular, travel, food and drink, additional services or other costs that exceed the voucher value.
9. Selection of Winners
After the contest period has ended, a Südsee-Camp jury will review all valid submissions.
The jury will select a total of ten winning photos. The selection will be based in particular on the following criteria:
recognisable connection to Südsee-Camp
creativity
visual impact
holiday feeling
quality of the subject
originality
The grand prize worth €1,000 will be awarded at random from among the ten selected winning photos.
For each of the remaining nine winning photos, a holiday voucher worth €100 will be awarded.
The selection of winners is expected to take place within one month after the end of the contest period.
10. Notification and Announcement of Winners
The winners will be notified by email at the email address provided on the entry form.
The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the contact details provided.
If a winner does not respond within 14 days after the prize notification has been sent, Südsee-Camp reserves the right to award the prize to someone else.
Südsee-Camp is entitled to publish the winning photos as part of its own communications. The winning photo may be published together with the winner’s first name and an abbreviated surname, for example “Max M.”.
The full name or place of residence will be published only with the winner’s prior separate consent.
There is no entitlement to the publication of a photo or name.
11. Exclusion from Participation
Südsee-Camp reserves the right to exclude participants from the Photo Contest if they violate these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
Exclusion may occur in particular in the event of:
false or incomplete information
multiple entries by the same person
automated submissions
use of competition-entry services or automated registration services
attempted manipulation
submission of photos not taken by the participant
submission of AI-generated or AI-manipulated images
infringement of third-party rights
lack of a connection to Südsee-Camp
unlawful or objectionable content
In these cases, prizes already promised or delivered may also be revoked and reclaimed.
If unlawful content or infringements of rights are suspected, Südsee-Camp reserves the right to take further legal action.
12. Early Termination or Modification of the Photo Contest
Südsee-Camp reserves the right to interrupt, modify or terminate the Photo Contest early, either in whole or in part, at any time if its proper conduct cannot be guaranteed for technical, legal or organisational reasons.
This applies in particular in the event of manipulation, technical malfunctions, hardware or software errors, failure of the upload function, data loss, changes in the law or other reasons that impair the Photo Contest’s planned operation.
Participants shall have no claims against Südsee-Camp as a result.
If a disruption or termination was caused by a participant’s conduct, Südsee-Camp reserves the right to claim compensation for any resulting loss.
13. Data Protection
For participation in the Südsee-Camp Photo Contest, Südsee-Camp processes participants’ personal data.
The following data in particular are processed:
first and last name
email address
submitted image files
where applicable, image title, description or other voluntary information
technical data associated with the upload
The data is processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the Photo Contest. This includes, in particular, checking participation, reviewing the submitted photos, selecting the winners, notifying the winners, delivering the prizes, and publishing and using the submitted photos in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
The data required for participation is processed for the purpose of conducting the Photo Contest. The publication and promotional use of the photos and, where applicable, the first name and abbreviated surname are based on the consent given and the rights of use granted as part of participation.
Personal data will be disclosed only to the extent necessary to conduct the Photo Contest. This may include, in particular, technical service providers commissioned to provide hosting, form processing, the upload function, data storage or the sending of emails. When photos are published on social media platforms, data may also be transmitted to the respective platform operators.
Entry and upload data that is not used further will be deleted after the Photo Contest has ended, unless statutory retention periods or legitimate reasons require longer storage. Photos selected for communications or advertising purposes under the granted rights of use may be stored and used for longer in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
Within the scope of the statutory requirements, participants have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as the right to object to certain types of data processing. Where processing is based on consent, that consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

14. Miscellaneous
Legal recourse is excluded.
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
Cash payment of the prizes is excluded.
Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Participation be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining Terms and Conditions of Participation shall remain unaffected.
Südsee-Camp reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions of Participation where this is necessary for legal, technical or organisational reasons and does not unreasonably disadvantage the participants.
